The Location

The Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club (NBGC) has been the meeting location for the meetings since late 2004. It is because of this location that we are able to host the type of meetings that we have. There are two to three rooms that we typically occupy. The first room would be the Computer Lab. The computers in the lab are maintained by a couple of the core members within Chicago 2600. Althoug the computers are there to be used as public terminals, we ask you to please be responsible and do not attempt to break and/or hack the systems. | |

The second primary room that we use is next door to the lab. The room has a projector, screen, and a decently large number of chairs. This makes for the perfect setting to host our talks/discussions/presentations. We sometimes also spill into the game room. This is the large room with air hockey, bumper pool, and plenty of seating to get away from the chaos that can sometimes occur at the meetings. |
